Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for changing of sanding belts
  • Grind gates to specification without producing scrap
  • Grind with hand polishing type grinders or automatic grinder
  • Blast remelt material
  • Saw operations
  • Straightening Operations
  • Assist in other areas as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our rapidly growing company. The Quality Engineer will help us by creating & maintaining quality system documentations. The will also be vital in investigating and determining the root cause of non-conformance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain documents and procedures related to quality standards, risk analysis, lessons learned from product recalls, complaints, scrap, and rework, and retain documented information as evidence.
  • Create and maintain quality systems documentation, such as quality procedures, and work instructions
  • Utilize basic quality tools along with problem solving and lean manufacturing techniques in the support of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, CAPA program, promoting lessons learned process
  • Design and implement audits and control plans for products to ensure product quality targets are met
  • Monitor all manufacturing processes and assess product quality to determine adequacy, capability and ability to comply with customer specifications and company’s specifications
  • Maintain and monitor quality assurance KPIs and standards
  • Perform and ensure quality conformance through dimensional checks and metrology for all products (NPD & Regular production)
  • Perform process scrap analysis and present internal scrap reports
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, lead completion of root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress and improvements
  • Interpret prints and measurement tools (GD&T).
  • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analysing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. Executes statistical process controls for critical to quality (CTQ) characteristics
  • Responsible for PPAP document preparation for all new products and if necessary, for existing products due to design/process changes.
  • Assist suppliers to maintain 100% PPAP compliance for all pre-production and production builds
  • Supports the final inspection department which may include direct inspection, testing, documentation, and analysis to ensure quality and on-time delivery goals are achieved
  • Actively participates in the internal audit program to identify quality improvement/failure prevention opportunities, and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor every manufacturing processes and assess product quality to determine adequacy, capability and ability to comply with customer specifications and company’s specifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in 8D Problem solving techniques, FMEA, CAPA, Fishbone Diagram, Root Cause analysis, CTQ, GD&T, SPC
  • Excellent communications skills – Verbal & Written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Power point
  • Strong organizational & planning skills

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Manager to join our rapidly growing company. The Quality Manager will help us create & maintain quality documentation procedure for inspections and processes. They will also be responsible for providing hands on support for quality work all the way down to the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a culture of concern for Quality throughout the entire company
  • Create a cohesive Quality Team through mentoring, coaching, constructive performance feedback and formal/informal training.
  • Develop, review and maintain Quality documentation procedures for inspection, equipment’s and processes. Ensure all quality documents are accurate, complete and reflect the most up-to date regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day Quality activities, concerns and issues in compliance with standards.
  • Define and manage all Quality KPIs
  • Manage preventative methods of controlling Quality through SPC, Visual Management, problem solving and prevention techniques
  • Analyse Quality statistical data to determine present standards and establish Quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
  • Responsible for managing all in-house NDT (Non-destructive Testing) operations
  • Provides technical expertise and hands on support on Quality matters to Engineers, Inspectors and manufacturing personnel
  • Responsible for product quality issues, including customer complaints and feedback, production inspection procedures, final inspection, root cause analysis and corrective action management.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations and Customer Service to successfully launch new programs by identifying and mitigating quality risks up front during PPAP and new product qualification process.
  • Responsible for handling customer communications and documentation for all PPAP related processes
  • Lead & manage testing and controls aimed at verifying product conformity, starting from incoming inspection on raw materials to final test on finished goods.
  • Responsible for process audits and identify areas of improvement to ensure RTFT (Right the First Time) goals are achieved.
  • Directly manage customer visits/audits and be the team leader for customer claims management and resolution.
  • Initiates and drives Quality Kaizen programs as a result of risk assessments that help meet and exceed the customer quality standards
  • Should liaise with external vendors, contractors, or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization’s quality standards.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • A working knowledge of international and market specific quality requirements. Including but not limited to:
    • ISO 9001-2015
    • ISO 13485 (Medical Device Certification)
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement tools
    • (Lean and/or 6 Sigma certification preferred)
  • Strong organizational & planning skills
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other standard computer applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of direct Quality experience including quality engineering, root cause evaluation, standards and procedural development, auditing, and training.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

Also over the last few years the plants have been introduced with various automated equipment. This has enabled us to produce high quality product and we are looking at significant growth in the next few years. In order for this growth to succeed we need good quality people. We are looking for a new business development administrator who will have the ability for exacting new opportunities by generating data from various dash boards which will enable Texmo to penetrate and grow new customers within existing and new markets. The position will be reporting directly to the Account Manager at our head office in the UK

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business development (NBD) opportunities within key existing accounts and potential customers.
  • Work closely with the sales department on identifying markets within the frame work of the sales plan.
  • Identifying companies to approach within these markets using business development process.
  • Research key contacts within organisations that may have interest in investment castings, or may have interest in Texmo services (buyers/strategic sourcing/supply chain/ sourcing engineers) at all levels.
  • Work with the account manager to generate reports on data collated.
  • Administrate new business development pipeline.
  • Schedule European / International travel plans for senior management.
  • Organise UK office visitor requirements
  • Ordering of office supplies.
  • Administration duties/responsibilities within the UK office.

Competencies

  • Have the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office products; Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must.
  • Knowledge of dash boards would be an advantage, but training can be given.
  • Excellent written & communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team.

Requirements

  • A level or equivalent in any subject plus GCSE’s, or equivalent qualification, at grade C or above in Maths, English & Science
  • Working with computer data ( 2 years plus preferred)
  • Sales administration (2 years plus preferred)
  • Generating reports.
