Texmo Precision Castings is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work with a growing innovative company. Texmo Precision Castings is a global company and our site in Warsaw Indiana has had a large investment in facilities and machinery over the last few years. This has enabled us to produce high quality product and we are looking at significant growth in the next few years. In order for this growth to succeed we need good quality people. We are looking for an Account manager who will take responsibility of plant level sales operations/performance, manage key accounts and penetrate and grow new customers within existing and new markets. The position will be reporting directly to the Head of sales at our head office in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with the portfolio of customer accounts at the Warsaw plant
  • Generate New Business Development (NBD) opportunities with key existing accounts and potential customers
  • Work closely with the engineering department on costing, technical clarifications and quote proposals
  • Attend customer meetings at the Warsaw plant or at the customer location as and when required
  • Assist the Warsaw plant internal teams and key stakeholders in New Product Development (NPD) activities
  • Manage a NPD project from the customer standpoint, co-ordinating and managing tasks and resolving and completing key actions
  • Support the production teams on customer forecasting intelligence and provide accurate visibility data for planning purposes
  • Work with the Head of Sales to formulate a medium/long term sales strategy both in terms of existing customer growth, market penetration and focus areas for business sustainability
  • Work with Head of Sales on establishing quarterly strategic planning wrt the ‘Objective Key Result’ program for the US Warsaw plant
  • Attend key internal review meetings on departmental and management company performance assessment and alignments

 

Requirements

  • Must be authorized for full-time employment in the US

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Persistence is a key character quality for this role.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office products; Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must.
  • Excellent written & communication skills, including good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
  • Ideally, have a casting background or at the least 5+ years working in a manufacturing arena
  • Good decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to work as a team and autonomously to make critical decisions
  • College degree preferred (Business / Engineering), not essential.
  • Experience in the field : Min. 7 years
  • Sales/Account Management background essential
  • Investment/Sand casting experience an advantage

Texmo Precision Castings is looking for a Product Engineer to join our team. We are looking for recent graduates with a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or similar degree) and 0-3+ years of experience. Responsibilities include the design for manufacture optimization of products, gating, and runner design, fixture design, gage design, tool design, and initial process setup. The Product Engineer will be supported by the Engineering Supervisor at our Warsaw location with further support from our global network of engineers and world-class technical consultants. The Product Engineer will also work closely with the sales team and production on new product development projects. This position provides an opportunity for a wide range of exposure with responsibilities in design, project management, customer communication, vendor development, and more – providing excellent exposure to several important skill sets. Our Product Engineers work closely with sales and are the driving force behind our aggressive growth plans. You will work with representatives from Quality, Process Engineering, Sales, Industrial Engineering, Production Team members, and shop floor workers to achieve your goals; as such, excellent interpersonal skills are required.

  • Optimizing customer product designs for manufacture
  • Tool design
  • Fixture design
  • Gage design
  • Runner/gate design
  • Process simulation for design optimization
  • Project manage new product development from quoting to production handover
  • Design for additive manufacturing processes on rapid prototypes
  • Work directly with customers’ engineering teams in new product development
  • Prepare to cost on request for quotes
  • Perform metrology in development and FAI/PPAP stages (including 3D scanning)
  • Preparation of FAI/PPAP documentation

Requirements

  • Responsible to inspect shells for proper insulation
  • Loading shells into oven
  • Responsible for metal storage
  • Assist for the sequencing of pour to make certain metal is not contaminated by pouring out of sequence
  • Responsible for pouring metal
  • Addition duties as assigned by supervisor
